Miles Macadam were recently specified to staff carry out surfacing works for Certas Energy, Whitby on behalf of Sterling Services. The area to be covered was approximately 400m² of service yard using Hardipave™. Our Cementitious Grouted Macadam is often utilised in this industrial setting as it is designed to withstand intense traffic loadings. It is fuel and leachate resistant and unlike conventional surfacing materials, does not deteriorate under the stress of high traffic volumes. Overall, there was a total of 8 team members (including the Contract Manager and Site Foreman) involved in the works and the duration of this activity took 1 day to complete.
