It is with great pleasure that Miles Macadam would like to announce their entry into the 2021 Highways Sector Awards in collaboration with WSP, Kier and Shropshire Council. Our Shropshire Carbon Neutral Scheme has been shortlisted for the final which will take place on the 20th of October. The award we have been shortlisted for focuses on Environmental Sustainability in the Highways Sector. We hope that our ability to provide a Carbon Neutral Surfacing Scheme can create and inspire more sustainable thinking within the Highways Sector, and more importantly engage our supply chain- as it has done so successfully with Shropshire Council, WSP and Kier. We are very proud of all involved, not only for their drive to reduce emissions, but for selecting Miles Macadam to enable the UK’s first Local Authority Carbon Neutral Surfacing Scheme.
