The Miles Macadam team had an idyllic setting to start off their first contract of 2022. We were specified to resurface approximately 3,630m² of Rhyl Promenade using our specialist cementitious Grouted Macadam, Hardipave. This contract was part of Balfour Beatty’s ‘East Rhyl Coastal Defence Scheme’ to reduce the risk of coastal flooding in the Garford Road area of East Rhyl. Not only that, our new Christmas present had it’s first run on site – a shiny, sparkling clean new freighter to add to our fleet. The blue skies were a great help in taking some photos to show off our new toy.
