The MM team have been in Nottingham for the past week completing a Hardipave™ Scheme on behalf of Thomas Bow and Nottingham City Council. The programme included resurfacing 21 bus stops across the city. Our Cementitious Grouted Macadam, Hardipave™ was installed over approximately 2,000m² throughout these 21 locations. Hardipave™ offers the client an opportunity to resurface and reprofile with a high strength material designed to withstand concentrated traffic volume and loadings and fuel / leachate contamination. There was a total of 8 team members (including the Contract Manager and Site Foreman) involved in the works and the duration of this activity took 8 days to complete. The locations covered in this scheme were: Milton Street, Derby Road, Alfreton Road, Wheeler Gate, Beastmarket Hill, Angel Row, Friar Lane, Upper Parliament Street and Mansfield Road. Due to the location of the works, it was not practicable for total road closure to be in affect and therefore Traffic Management was in operation. The works were completed on time and with the guarantee of quality and assurance that the sites will have long lasting surface’s for years to come.
