On the 26th April 2022, the Road Surface Treatments Association will be hosting a technical seminar focused on the Decarbonisation of Road Surfacing with specific reference to the delivery of long lasting, cost effective and sustainable road maintenance solutions. This event will take place at The Soutar Theatre in Perth, Scotland and will be a CPD accredited event. In light of this topic, our Business Development Manager Toby Fitzsimmons will be making an appearance at the event to discuss Grouted Macadams. He will be talking about the benefits, how to specify them, and the environmental savings as a result of utilising them. The RSTA has commented on the importance of the event and it’s main goals: “In response to the challenge to reduce the carbon impact of road surfacing, the RSTA in association with SCOTS are providing a free, full day seminar covering a range of road surface treatment options, where and when to use them and how we can individually and collectively reduce carbon”. It is a great honour to be invited to discuss Grouted Macadams and be involved with a CPD event to develop the awareness of sustainable surfacing across the industry.
