Steve’s Great North Run
Another ‘proud post’ from Miles Macadam this week. One of our MM team members recently participated in the Great North Run. Steve Wood, one of our contract managers, ran alongside his daughter’s partner Dan in aid of ‘A Smile for a Child’. This charity is a small grant giving charity, aimed at providing funds for disabled children to participate in sport and mobility.
Steve completed the run in 1 hour 51 minutes, and was placed in the top 1,000 out of 50,000 runners. Between them, Steve and Dan raised almost £500 for charity.
The Miles Macadam team would like to pass on a huge well done and congratulations to both Steve and Dan.
