Strictly Highways October 2023 LCRIG’s Strictly Highways is back again! The Miles Macadam team were up in Blackpool yesterday for return of the iconic Strictly Highways event. Steve, Toby, Hamza and Matt were set up at Stand 41 to talk all things sustainability and grouted macadams. They said the event was “a success, and a great way to network with clients, old and new. The event allows us to all witness some of the innovative ideas coming from inside our ever-evolving industry and educate on the ones coming from inside MM too. We got a great reception over at our stand and were able to showcase the work we’ve done so far, as well as our sustainability efforts and reduced carbon surfacing, plus the Miles Macadam cheese and chocolates were extremely popular!” The theme for this year’s event was centred around ‘Collaboratively Speaking: Sharing Solutions to Meet Local Roads Demands’ and delegates were given the opportunity to learn something new, refresh existing knowledge, improve skills, and keep up to date with the latest developments in the highways sector. This year’s event was the biggest yet, with over 400 delegates from public and private sector in attendance and more than 50 exhibitors.
